An alumnus of the prestigious Lady Harding Medical College, she did her MD in Biochemistry from Patel Chest institute and then moved on for her two year senior residency at the ‘Maulana Azad Medical College.’ Driven by a passion to provide quality diagnostic solutions to the then up-coming sub city of Dwarka, she took a decision to quit a highly rewarding job at a prestigious institute to set up ‘Siddhant Diagnostix’ in the year 2002, which was one of the pioneer medical establishments in the sub city. ‘Siddhant Diagnostix’ was rechristened as ‘Prognosis Laboratories’ in 2013.

A graduate from the prestigious Armed forces Medical College, he completed his MD in Pathology from GMC Nagpur in 1997. Subsequently he worked in the departments of clinical pathology, cytology, haematology and histopathology at Lady Hardinge Medical College and AIIMS as a senior resident. He subsequently worked extensively in the fields of immunohematology, molecular biology and cytogenetic at Dr Lal Path Labs Ltd as head of their reference laboratory. A true pioneer in these fields, he was instrumental in establishing flowcytometry and PCR based testing as a viable diagnostic procedures.
He also acquired a keen interest in quality assurance procedures and was at the helm of affairs when his lab became the first ever lab in India to get both NABL and CAP accredited. He subsequently moved on to help establish SRL’s regional centre of excellence in Delhi. He then moved on to Vimta Lab Ltd as Vice President and head of the clinical reference laboratory division where he established the relevant quality assurance and administrative protocols for efficient running of the laboratory.
His last as assignment was as Director of Pathology and Quality Assurance at Quest Diagnostic India. Having gained enormous experience in the latest diagnostic tool while working with the largest laboratories of India, he decided to join Prognosis Laboratories as guide, mentor and partner in the year 2013.

A B.E. in mechanical engineering from BITS PILANI, one of the premier engineering institutes of the country, he carried on his brilliant academic record with an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from MDI Gurgaon, a blue chip B-School of the country. He gave up a highly lucrative career with financial powerhouse HSBC and in January 2013, along with Dr. Smita Sadwani and Dr. Deepak Sadwani, launched Prognosis Laboratories, a centre for excellence in medical diagnostics.
